Strong leaders realise they must harvest the current crop, prepare the ground for the next season, and invest in new crops for the future. The trick is to cultivate and manage the successful migration of long-term projects into the medium-term and then into the short-term. After all, strategy is nothing without execution.

Most progressive organisations have clarity of vision. At the same time, most organisations do not stick to their strategy for realising their vision, often taking short-cuts or cutting expenditure to meet short-term performance targets without any thought to the long-term repercussions of such actions. So whilst we expect our clients to know their own business, we include 'visioning' as a means to help clients maintain their focus on the right things across each time horizon. We can then work together to ensure that strategies in each time horizon execute against this vision.

Medium-term strategies by their nature tend to have longer ingestation timescales and longer-lasting impact. We specialise in customer experience management, smarter sourcing and service commissioning, understanding emerging technologies and working practices, operational performance improvement, engaging with employees to change mindset, and supporting organisations to embed an innovation culture.

Our support for clients on long-term strategy development is primarily around opportunities for growth, new product development and portfolio management, market and competitor analysis, new market and territory penetration.
